We have a New Moon in Capricorn on the 2nd of January. This brings opportunities to start the year as we mean to go on, to embrace the opportunities for new growth, to let go of traditions that don’t sit well in the 21st century. Capricorn gives the chance to build new more appropriate ways of conducting business’s, and to work with the ongoing challenges of the Saturn in Aquarius square to Uranus in Taurus. We’re still in orb of this powerful energy. Don’t wait for life to shake you up with unexpected chaotic events. Shake yourself up so that you have some control over the direction you’re heading.

With the innovative and unpredictable planet Uranus, making a helpful aspect to the new moon, expect unexpected events that propel you forward with new ideas, that you may have for your work, and increasing your finances. This is a perfect time to use visualisation practices, to dream and attract in to your life the situations you need to advance in your career.

Jupiter, now in Pisces, suggests business partnerships can grow into mutually beneficial relationships to benefit any visions you have.

There’s also a reality check implied by this new moon. Capricorn is about hard work, and it encourages that commitment to a plan or project will pay off in the long term, and can ultimately transform your business life. It’s a time to face your ego head on, and allow the lessons from the past to heal the present, enabling you to shed defensive aspects of your personality, such as envy and competition, which prevent you moving forward.

Ego release, and ultimate awareness of our interconnectedness, helps us to initiate our goals in a way that the universe can respond to, with love and help. Venus retrograde in Capricorn, is asking us to review who, or what, is most valuable in our lives. To find ways to overcome the lower energies of competition, and embark on the road of healthy collective encouragement, to enable Co-creation. Humans as a tribe are exactly that. A tribe, which means our connectivity and working together for the highest good of all, is very much what Saturn in Aquarius is requiring of us.

Mercury is in the early degrees of Aquarius before it starts it’s retrograde phase in mid January. It’s widely conjunct Pluto in Capricorn. The Aquarius energy gives Mercury, and us a sense of connection to the wider whole, and it’s as if, we’re on the brink of collectively sensing the bigger picture, that transformative Pluto is pushing us towards. Be aware of where your drifting thoughts take you during this time. As you may find ideas come to you that transform your current beliefs. Don’t be afraid to let go of long held beliefs, whatever they may be related too. Recognise how healthy it is for us to see a truth that we couldn’t trust before, and embrace a new way of thinking, so that our beliefs become truths and not just beliefs.

So use the energy of this new moon, not only to invite in success for new business endeavours that you have, but to invite in a collective healing for humanity, and to set clear intentions for common sense and clarity for the planet.
