OVERVIEW
With the Sun in Cancer until the 23rd. We have more of a sense of the need to chill out at home with family. Some astrological respite after the events and strident energies of the last couple of months. We will be ready to go out and play, once the Sun moves into Leo.
The significant energies this month that need to be highlighted, are the continuing fiery energies of Mars in the sign it rules, Aries. During the first week of July, Mars, our god of assertion, energy, aggression and passion, is conjunct Eris, our dwarf planet, who is the goddess of strife and discord. Will we see rebellious street behaviour ? Rioting ? These can be some of the affects of this energy. It’s certainly volatile. And if the collective in certain parts of the planet have had enough, they may well express their displeasure by rioting, and marching. In which countries might we see this ? I’ll come to that in a moment.
WHO IS CANCER ?
However, within all this strident energy we have the nurturing energy of the Cardinal water sign, Cancer. Ruled by the moon. Cancer is warm and nurturing. Cancer represents the mother, motherhood. Whilst we relax in this warm and loving energy it will soothe our senses and help us see the bigger picture of the events unfolding in the world in general.
HOW WILL IT AFFECT THE PLANET ?
So, as I mentioned in the overview, the energies this month have a certain volatility. So in which countries might we see this ? Well Russia springs to mind, even North Korea, as they battle their experience of Covid. With Mars moving into Taurus on the 8th, and conjunct the North Node and Uranus. The troubles in the world economy are going to bite back, as inflation hits us all, and the collective find they are are struggling to even feed themselves. Retrograde Saturn in Aquarius is reigniting challenging issues for people this month.
The other energy that I need to mention is the USA second hit for its Pluto return. Between July 4th and 12th notably. America is being given an opportunity with this energy to step up. To step up, by allowing necessary changes in government structures. By allowing fresh energy to guide the country.
HOW WILL IT AFFECT YOU PERSONALLY?
The worlds unfolding events, and particularly the rocky economic situation will touch us all, and with Saturn our planet of slowdown and restriction, now retrograde in Aquarius, we should all be mindful to tighten our belts, and be prudent in our budgeting and spending. We will all be affected by the Mars conjunct Eris energy, and woe betide anyone who crosses us with beliefs that don’t match our own. But try and see the bigger picture of this energy, and use Jupiters conjunction with Chiron, our wounded healer, to lift your vibrations up to a higher collective viewpoint. Whether that concerns world events, or events unfolding in your personal lives.
