Sturgeon Moon and a Blue Moon

A bid for freedom

Astrological bit:

Sun in Leo ( fixed fire) at 29:36

Moon in Aquarius (fixed air) at 29:36

Jupiter retrograde in Aquarius conjunct Full Moon.

Jupiter retrograde in Aquarius opposite Sun in Leo.

Mars in Virgo (mutable earth) trine Uranus in Taurus (fixed earth)

Mercury in Virgo conjunct Mars in Virgo trine Uranus

Neptune in Pisces opposite Mercury and Mars in Virgo.

Pluto retrograde in Capricorn trine Mercury in Virgo.

Saturn retrograde in Aquarius trine Venus in Libra.

The Full Sturgeon Moon is a blue moon, this happens when 2 full moons fall within the same Zodiac sign. In this case it’s Aquarius. And yes, another powerful full moon, this one is conjunct Retrograde Jupiter. Jupiter exaggerates, expands, and can also bring lucky opportunities. The full moon is opposite the sun, of course in Leo and is in Aquarius. My sense, is that we could see revelations and the truth coming out around a subject that is very much in the public domain. We will have to wait to see what that might be.

As both Mercury and Mars are making a positive angle to Uranus at this time. News at this time could be dramatic and shocking. We’ve certainly seen this week some shocking events, which can be courtesy of this energy. Namely the fall of Afghanistan to the Taliban, and a fairly bad earthquake again in Haiti. I’m writing this on the 16th August so there may be more by the time of the full moon. We can only hope, that due to the positive angle made by both Mercury and Mars to Uranus, that he collateral fallout will be limited. It may be a good thing that Uranus is retrograde from the 29th. Thus putting the brakes on events, before they get out of control. Giving the powers that be time to withdraw and regroup, and mindfully choose the best way forward.

With retrograde Jupiter conjunct the Full Moon in Aquarius, it’s important to unpack this energy carefully. Even though Jupiter is usually seen as the planet of luck and opportunity, it also expands what it touches. That is not always necessarily positive. For world leaders it’s important they stick with truth and transparency, around this lunar event, otherwise Jupiter’s shadow energy of negativity, could bring those in power down. Is this a good thing ? Or a bad thing ? I guess it depends which side of the fence you’re on. But Jupiter could be bringing a particularly big ending. Don’t forget that, in a sense the astrological energies are neutral, it’s how we behave in connection with the energies, that determines the outcomes.
