With the February dawn we embrace the energy of the sign of Aquarius. But who is Aquarius? They are the rebels of the Zodiac. They like independence and freedom. In speech, and in general. They can be loners but with a strong sense of the greater unity. It can be quite difficult to really know an Aquarius native, as there’s an aloofness and determination to do things their way, which is non negotiable. February is a great time for inner reflection, and to prepare oneself mentally for what you wish to initiate this year. The new Moon this month is on the 1st in Aquarius, and is conjunct Saturn, they are in turn making a challenging angle to Uranus in Taurus bringing the potential for rebellious behaviour. Against imposed restrictions. As I’ve mentioned earlier, Aquarius hates restrictions and so any loss of freedom will be viewed with angry outbursts.
Thankfully we have the positive energies of Jupiter, now in Pisces, doing its best to shed fairy dust on the planet, and encouraging us to look forwards with optimism for a brighter future.

As they journey forwards, towards their meeting with transformative Pluto we can use their collective energy to build stability, in our personal, and business relationships and how lovely that these two planets will be together for romantic Valentine’s Day on the 14th, bringing the promise of love and renewed commitment for many. With Uranus in Taurus in a favourable position for relationships on the 14th, we could see unexpected changes and commitments for people who never thought it possible. Romantic nights in are the preferred choice for most people this year, when house moves and living arrangements may be the topic for conversation.
The full moon this month is in Leo on the 16th, and promises to be a time of well thought through decisions based on current evidence and past experiences, as this helps to determine what you need to let go of, and what can propel you forward towards a creative future.
